X-ray

X-ray

X-rays are the most frequently used form of medical imaging. Your doctor may order an X-ray to look for broken bones, problems in your lungs and abdomen, or many other conditions.

X-ray Technology

Our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) – an electronic and filmless information system for acquiring, storing, and electronically displaying medical images – allows radiologists and providers immediate access to diagnostic images and results.

Board-certified radiologists analyze X-ray and computer-generated images, then share their findings with your doctor, who in turn discusses them with you.

X-ray Images

To request a copy of your images, please call the Radiology Imaging Services Department at 603-577-2819 Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or send a request via email to imagingservices@snhhs.org. Please allow two days after your images have been completed to request a copy. All images will be provided along with the reports on a CD.  If you wish to obtain a copy of the Radiologist report only (no images), please call the Medical Records Department at 603-577-7568

We do have the ability to transfer images electronically to many facilities, therefore a CD may not be required to be picked up. A member of our Imaging Services Department will instruct you if we are able to transfer your images electronically.

There will be a fee for patients who would like a copy of their images for personal use.
