Sleep Services

The Sleep Center at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center offers diagnostic sleep studies to help diagnose your sleeping disorders and provides comprehensive treatment options.

Sleep Better with Experts by Your Side

More than 130 million Americans suffer from sleep problems, often caused by a sleep disorder. Though most sleep disorders can be treated, many of them go undiagnosed. Our state-of-the-art equipment monitors brain waves, breathing, heart activity, muscle activity, and other functions. The Sleep Center offers in-lab studies for patients ages six and older, as well as in-home sleep testing for patients over 18 years old.

Treatments may include lifestyle changes, devices to help keep your airway open, medications, and surgery. Test results are analyzed locally and sent to your primary care provider who will discuss the results and treatment options with you.

Offering In-Lab and In-Home Experiences

The Sleep Center offers in-lab studies for everyone above the age of six. The facility has five private sleep labs, which are all modeled after a hotel room with a queen-size bed and equipped with DirecTV.

Depending on your condition, a more affordable option available is in-home sleep studies, offered to patients over the age of 18. The benefits of an in-home study include comfort, realistic evaluations, and usually come at a lower cost.
