We deliver leading medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology in a comfortable and convenient setting. Our experienced team works together to repair and revitalize your skin through cosmetic procedures and Mohs Micrographic Surgery--the most effective method of removing skin cancer.
Dr. Mollie MacCormack specializes in Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer. This procedure can remove the entire skin cancer leaving the smallest mark resulting in the smallest scar possible. Most of the time the skin cancer can be removed in one step. There are occasions, however, when we need to perform additional surgical steps to fully remove all of the cancer. The entire process of removing the skin cancer, evaluating the skin under the microscope, and closing the skin can take a minimum of two hours. The Mohs procedure is 99% effective in removing all the cancer.
Your first appointment with the doctor is typically a consultation. During this appointment, you will discuss the Mohs micrographic procedure to prepare you for the surgery. It is important that you bring your calendar to this appointment as surgery should not be scheduled close to times you will be traveling, athletic events, or events such as weddings.

This procedure uses a highly concentrated solution injected directly into the vein, causing the vein to disappear gradually over three to six weeks. Pressure stockings must be used in conjunction with this procedure to be most effective.
This injectable gel is used in the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss or can be injected into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as “smile lines” in adults.
This injectable medication helps gradually replace lost collagen–an underlying cause of facial aging (“smile lines”) – for results that can last more than two years.
